Financial consulting services firm based in Fort Worth, Texas
Village & Vine Consulting was founded by Laura Strobel, a licensed CPA in Fort Worth, Texas. Laura spent years in financial services seeing too many clients treated like a once-a-year transaction. So, she built something better with her daughters: a family-run financial team where your books, taxes, and story are given the attention they deserve.
Let us be the village behind your finances
Before Village & Vine, Laura spent years as a CPA inside the traditional model of financial services which often looked like: a once-a-year appointment, an impersonal handoff of documents, and a tax return delivered with little explanation or conversation.
And she kept seeing the same patten: clients with bookkeepers, tax preparers, and other professionals who never talked to each other. Business owners making major decisions without knowing whether they were even profitable. People paying for surprises that a single, proactive phone call could have prevented. The work was getting done, but nobody was looking at the whole picture, and clients were the ones paying for it.
Village & Vine exists as the direct answer to that pattern: bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning, and business guidance under one roof, from a family-run team that takes the time to learn your story. We understand the challenges of running a small business or handling complex tax situations on your own.
And we believe that the best time to have a village around your finances isn't at the deadline, but all year long.
There’s a reason we didn’t call our company “Strobel & Associates”
We chose a name that says what we believe instead of just who we are. A village means you're never navigating your finances alone. With us, you get a dedicated team, and a trusted network beyond it, ready to support you. A vine grows strongest when it's tended to consistently, not checked on once a year.
Put them together and you have exactly what we want for every client: real support and steady growth. That’s the Village & Vine Consulting differentiator.
Our Approach: Whole-picture, people-first, and proactive from day one
Every engagement starts with getting to know you: your business, your goals, what's going on in your life, and what you're building toward. The numbers only make sense once we understand the person behind them.
What that looks like in practice:
We keep your books accurate and reconciled monthly
We plan for taxes all year
We flag issues and opportunities proactively
We explain everything in plain language
We bring in trusted attorneys, financial planners, and specialists from our network when a question falls outside our wheelhouse.
Someone from our team will pick up your call or get back to you as soon as possible. No robo-advisors, no AI assistants. Real humans.
The Village & Vine mission:
To build a village of financial support around every client, so no one has to navigate their business or personal finances alone.
Meet your village
Laura Ann Strobel
-
Laura is the founder of Village & Vine and a licensed CPA in Texas with hands-on experience across budgeting, bookkeeping, payroll, tax planning, and financial reporting. After years inside the traditional financial services model, she built Village & Vine to be the alternative: a firm where clients are known, questions get answered, and no one is left navigating a life transition or a tax deadline alone.
A proud mom of three daughters and an even prouder Mimi, Laura says raising her girls is what inspired her career in accounting in the first place. Now she gets to run a business with two of them, which might be the most Village & Vine thing about Village & Vine.
Rebecca Strobel
-
Rebecca keeps the village running. She stepped into accounts receivable and virtual office work in 2020, when adaptability was the only job description, and quickly became the backbone of daily operations: client communications, digital filing, document delivery, and the hundred behind-the-scenes tasks that keep engagements moving smoothly. Laura describes Rebecca as the rock that keeps the business polished and effortless.
She's a multi-year holder of the QuickBooks Online Advanced Certification and is fluent in the Intuit ecosystem. But ask anyone on the team and they'll tell you her real superpower is heart: she listens with empathy and helps solve problems before they're spoken.
Danielle Strobel Jr.
-
Danielle learned bookkeeping the old-fashioned way: hands-on, under the mentorship of a licensed CPA who happens to be her mom. Laura taught her how the numbers work together and the power of a clean, well-organized set of books, and Danielle ran with it.
Today she handles bookkeeping and payroll with the kind of precision that makes tax season boring (the goal). She genuinely enjoys the back-office work most people dread, and she has a gift for explaining bookkeeping concepts in plain language, so you always understand what's happening in your own books. Danielle truly makes sure every client feels like someone has their back.
Our shared philosophy
Know the whole picture, do the work well, and make sure our clients never carry financial weight alone. That's what peace of mind looks like around here.
“You truly make my anxiety disappear this time of year [tax season], and I’m so thankful for the day our mutual friend introduced us.”
— M.S.
Financial consulting for business owners and professionals who want a clearer relationship with their numbers
Our clients tend to be growth-mode business owners with a business that's outpaced its (often DIY) financial foundation, and busy professionals whose finances have gotten more complex than a once-a-year tax appointment can handle. What they have in common: they want to understand their money, not just sign off on it, and they'd rather have a responsive partner than the cheapest option.
Proudly serving Fort Worth, Dallas, and communities across Texas
Village & Vine is based in North Richland Hills, right in the heart of the DFW metro. We work with business owners and professionals throughout the area, including Keller, Southlake, Grapevine, Flower Mound, Trophy Club, Westlake, and beyond.
And since our processes are fully digital, with secure client portals for everything from documents to signatures, we're able to support clients anywhere in Texas, in person or virtually, whichever works best for you.
